Configured with Nitro Series rear shocks featuring an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, a large 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting silver coated finish.
This lift kit is built around replacement upper control arms that dwarf factory components, constructed from fully-welded 1/8" steel plate with CNC-machined ball joint and bushing mounts to deliver significant gains in suspension travel. The arms use high-quality ball joints rated for heavy-duty use and work with stock-style rubber mount bushings for a quiet ride. A fully integrated front differential drop and differential skid plate system relocates the differential for optimal driveline angles.
The included strut spacers provide a full 3.5" of front lift and install on the factory struts without requiring a strut compressor. A block and U-bolt system delivers 2" of rear lift for a level vehicle stance.
Certain tire/wheel packages can fit with the addition of the provided weld-on steering stops. These are necessary for deeper backspaced wheels to maintain proper tire clearance to the new upper control arms. Minor frame and front differential trimming required — see installation instructions for details. Will NOT fit 2007 "Classic" models. If you have a 2007 Classic, see kits for comparable 1999–06 models. WILL NOT FIT HYBRID MODELS.
