Overview

The BDS 5.5-inch lift kit builds on the performance and capability of the 2017–2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro by adding extra altitude to clear larger tires while correcting suspension, steering, and driveline geometry. Designed to retain the factory FOX internal bypass coilovers up front and FOX internal bypass shocks in the rear, this kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection.

Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that use factory tie rod ends for ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, lower control arm cams, and all necessary hardware are included for a comprehensive front suspension lift. In the rear, the kit uses heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks, a brake line bracket, longer U-bolts, and rear shock extensions designed to retain the factory FOX shocks.
