Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

This 5.5-inch suspension lift kit by BDS is designed for 2015–2022 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 33-inch tires. It utilizes a high-clearance design to improve ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.

Up front, the kit includes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket, and heavy duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. Additional front components include sway bar links, bump stop extensions, CV spacers, and all necessary hardware.

In the rear, a heavy duty fabricated lift block replaces the stock block to lift and level the stance while retaining ride quality and load capacity. New U-bolts and precision-tuned rear shocks complete the rear suspension upgrade.

Important Notes

• Inner fender trimming is required.
• Minor welding is required.
• The electronically assisted power steering system is sensitive to out-of-round, unbalanced, and more aggressive tread pattern tires. High-speed steering wheel feedback can occur.
• The actual ride height on C/O kits is closer to 6 inches of lift.
• Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled with the lift kit.
• Aftermarket 20-inch wheels with a maximum of 5.25-inch backspacing are recommended. Certain wheel and tire combinations will require weld-on steering stops, which are included in the kit. See the end of the instruction sheet for details.
• Will not fit ZR2 models.
