Overview
This 6-inch suspension lift kit for the 2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma 4WD is built by BDS Suspension around proprietary FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks designed to bolt on increased travel and the ability to soak up rough terrain while maintaining smooth on-road comfort. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability and includes everything necessary to achieve clearance for up to 35-inch tires.
Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket, and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles using factory tie rod ends correct steering geometry at the new ride height while maintaining ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, lower control arm cams, and all required hardware are also included. In the rear, heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks, brake line brackets, and longer U-bolts are paired with FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks for improved damper performance.
FOX 2.5 coil-overs include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to keep shocks running cool under demanding conditions. An optional DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjuster variant is available to tune both high-speed and low-speed compression damping for on-road and off-road use.
