Overview

Designed for 2007–2014 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban, and Tahoe and GMC Yukon 1500 4WD trucks, this BDS 6-inch lift kit improves stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for on-road handling. Up front, the kit utilizes full-length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket system, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, complemented by sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all required hardware. In the rear, BDS Pro-Ride coil springs deliver on-road ride quality and off-road performance, supported by anti-sway bar links, a track bar relocation system, and adjustable upper control arms for proper pinion angle adjustment. This kit is configured with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coil-Over shocks for the front.

Important Notes

• Will not work with auto-ride equipped vehicles.
• Minor premature engagement of the StabiliTrak system may occur during certain driving maneuvers.
• Minor frame bracket modification and welding are required.
• 20" wheels with 5" to 5-3/4" backspacing recommended to reduce trimming.
• Add BDS121651 Auxiliary Differential bracket for AWD models.
