BDS 6 Inch Lift Kit | 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ | w/ FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks

Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension's 6-inch suspension lift kit is designed to improve the stance and capability of the 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit includes front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new U-bolts, front and rear track bar relocation brackets to center the axle, stainless steel braided brake lines, sway bar disconnects, a power steering pitman arm, bump stop extensions, and 1-inch extended shackles. Specially tuned shocks are included to deliver improved damper performance.

The Glide-Ride leaf springs utilize an exclusive triple-stage, multi-leaf progressive spring rate design with tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, and a full military wrap to protect spring eyes. This design provides flexibility throughout the suspension cycle and a smooth ride under varying loads.

Important Notes

• May require a larger diameter driveshaft if equipped with a 41-1/2-inch front driveshaft.
• A slip yoke eliminator and dual cardan style rear driveshaft is required.
• Extended shackles are recommended to clear the military wraps on the springs.
• Pitman arms will NOT fit YJ models equipped with manual steering.
