Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension improves the performance and capability of the 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with this 5-inch suspension lift kit. Designed to improve stance and provide clearance for up to 33-inch tires, the kit includes front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new u-bolts, front and rear track bar relocation brackets to center the axle, stainless steel braided brake lines, sway bar disconnects, a power steering pitman arm, bump stop extensions, and a transfer case drop kit to ease driveline angles.

BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs use a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design with an exclusive triple-stage construction. Features include tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, and a full military wrap to protect spring eyes. This design provides a smooth ride under varying loads and flexibility throughout the full suspension cycle.

Important Notes

• May require a larger diameter driveshaft if equipped with a 41-1/2-inch front driveshaft.
• A slip yoke eliminator and dual cardan style rear driveshaft is required.
• Extended shackles are recommended to clear the military wraps on the springs.
• Pitman arm will NOT fit YJ models equipped with manual steering.
