This configuration includes Nitro Series rear shocks featuring an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, a large 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting silver coated finish.
This 5.5-inch lift kit for the 2015–2022 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon 4WD uses ductile cast iron steering knuckles to reposition critical steering and control arm mounting locations, working in harmony with heavy-duty fabricated crossmembers. Differential drop brackets lower and reposition the front differential for correct CV shaft angles while retaining use of the factory front driveshaft, aided by a spacer that helps maintain optimum CV joint positioning. A full-width differential skid plate protects the relocated differential and ties the front and rear crossmembers together. Factory struts are retained and relocated using top spacers to achieve the full 5.5 inches of front lift without strut disassembly, and are positioned to eliminate binding throughout wheel travel. The rear receives a new block and U-bolt kit providing 4 inches of lift to level the stance with the front. Extended sway bar links, bump stop extensions, and brake line relocation hardware are also included.
