Overview

The BDS Suspension 5-inch Lift Kit for the 2007–2015 Toyota Tundra (2WD/4WD) is engineered to deliver enhanced off-road capability and ground clearance while maintaining on-road drivability. The kit combines BDS Upper Control Arms, Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles, High Clearance Crossmembers, a front skid plate system, and FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coilovers to upgrade suspension geometry, wheel travel, and ride quality. BDS Upper Control Arms are constructed from 1.5-inch tubular steel with an indexed ball joint and factory-style rubber bushings to maximize wheel travel with maintenance-free operation. The CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the new ride height, working with factory tie rod ends to maintain proper steering angles and ESC system compatibility. The high clearance crossmember design uses 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel and bolts together with a front skid plate to form a rigid subframe with added underside protection. Multipoint differential relocation brackets secure the front axle and improve CV angles.

Important Notes

• Requires frame bracket modification and welding.
• No strut disassembly required.
• Stock 18-inch wheels cannot be installed.
• Factory 20-inch wheels with more than 6.25-inch backspacing cannot be installed.
• Models with a two-piece rear driveline will require rear driveshaft modification.
• When installed on 2WD models, the differential brackets will not be used.
• ***Will work with Bilstein (yellow) factory front struts on 2014–2015 models.***
• Models equipped with 6-piston calipers will require clearance machining on the caliper near the bolt holes on the mounting surface.
