Overview

The BDS 8-inch lift kit for the 2014–2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 (4WD) is engineered to improve stance, performance, and off-road capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit includes proprietary FOX 2.5 coilover shocks designed specifically to bolt on for increased travel, improved rough-terrain performance, and smooth on-road comfort. BDS's high-clearance design improves ground clearance and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.

Up front, the kit features FOX 2.5 coilover shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, heavy-duty skid plates, sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and CV spacers. In the rear, the kit includes a replacement lift block and add-a-leaf combo or full Glide-Ride leaf spring options, new U-bolts, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.

FOX 2.5 Coilovers with DSC

The included FOX 2.5 coilovers are tuned and ready to install out of the box. These 2.5-inch diameter coilovers feature a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to maintain consistent damping performance in demanding terrain. The DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjustment allows independent tuning of high-speed and low-speed compression damping via two clearly labeled knobs, enabling on-road comfort and more aggressive off-road damping as needed.

• Will not fit MagnaRide magnetic ride control equipped models.
• Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference.
• All-wheel drive models require driveline modification.
