BDS offers complete coilover conversion upgrade kits for the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500HD that make it straightforward to convert a standard lifted suspension into coilovers. These kits are equipped with heavy-duty brackets and FOX 2.5 Coilovers built to withstand rugged use. Compatible with existing BDS 4.5-inch lift kits, they feature a bolt-on bracket for mounting coilovers to the frame at the factory shock mount location. A weld-in support gusset reinforces the upper mount. In addition to replacing the factory torsion bars, the upper and lower control arms are upgraded for enhanced strength and travel. The tubular performance upper control arms are specially designed by BDS to work seamlessly with the 2.5 coilovers, while the new lower control arms are built from high-strength steel, fully boxed, and internally gusseted.
FOX 2.5 Factory DSC shocks deliver next-level performance for both on-road comfort and off-road capability. Tuned and ready to install out of the box, these 2.5-inch diameter shocks include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to maintain consistent temperatures under demanding conditions. The DSC adjuster provides 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels via two adjuster knobs, and the black anodized aluminum reservoir increases cooling efficiency.
These upper control arms use 1.5" OD x .120-wall tubular construction with an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning, allowing additional down travel and camber adjustment. Frame mounting ends use durometer-specific rubber bushings for maintenance-free operation, while the ball joint end features a greaseable ball joint for smooth, quiet operation. Arms are finished in durable black powder coat with a billet aluminum dust cap.
