Configured with Glide-Ride replacement leaf springs and FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shocks for trucks with Aluminum or Stamped Steel factory control arms. The 2.5-inch aluminum body FOX Performance Elite coilover features an external reservoir, a massive 7/8-inch hard chrome plated alloy steel shaft, and a standard DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjuster for precise, on-the-fly tuning. The multi-leaf progressive Glide-Ride springs eliminate the factory block, correct pinion angles, reduce axle wrap, and maintain factory payload weight ratings.

Overview

The BDS 6-inch lift kit for the 2014–2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD is engineered to improve stance, ground clearance, and off-road capability while supporting fitment of up to 35-inch tires. The kit employs BDS's high-clearance design to improve strength and off-road protection and corrects suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling at the new ride height.

Up front, the kit uses full-length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch-thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, heavy-duty skid plates, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles to correct steering geometry at the lifted height. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all required hardware are also included. In the rear, buyers may choose between lift blocks or full Glide-Ride leaf springs, paired with new U-bolts, brake line brackets, and a choice of FOX rear shocks.

Important Notes

*IMPORTANT*: GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014–2017 model trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the "Cast Steel Control Arm" kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the "Aluminum Control Arm" kit. Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering by referencing our help images when customizing your kit. Requires frame bracket modification. Requires differential modification to clear electric power steering. Factory 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference. If choosing the 5" rear block option, add-a-leaf #111209 is recommended for a more level/tail high stance on crew cab models. All wheel drive models require drive line modification. Will not fit MagneRide magnetic ride control equipped models.
