This configuration includes rear leaf springs with a multi-leaf progressive design for a smooth ride. Maintains factory payload weight ratings while providing the correct pinion angle and ride quality for lifted applications.

Overview

This 6-inch lift kit with long-arm and FOX 2.5 coilover conversion is designed for 2003–2007 Dodge RAM 2500 and 3500 4WD diesel trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. BDS developed a mounting system that bolts directly to the factory coil mounts with only minor trimming and drilling required. Weld-in reinforcements at the axle are included for superior strength. The long lower control arms are built to reduce caster change with wheel travel, creating a more controlled steering feel while retaining the factory triangulation of the arms for added suspension stability.

Up front, the kit includes FOX 2.5 coilover shocks, all four control arms, mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, and sway bar links. In the rear, the kit utilizes heavy-duty cast-steel blocks or leaf springs (depending on variant), longer u-bolts, and a matched set of FOX 2.0 Performance shocks.

Important Notes

• Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads will require u-bolt 4068.
• Although unusual, if driveline vibration occurs, order the appropriate transfer case drop kit: 122602 (03–05 Diesel Auto), 122605 (06–08 Diesel Auto), or 122606 (03–13 Diesel Auto with OE mount P/N 52121938AA), available in options or t-case index kit #122801 (auto) or #122802 (manual transmission). Optional transfer case drop kits fit automatic transmission models only.
• Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009 on 6.7L Diesel models.
• If your truck has had the steering gear box changed and the sector shaft diameter measures approximately 1-1/2"–1-5/8", you will need to add part #BDS082404 to your kit.
