BDS 6 Inch Long Arm Lift Kit w/ FOX 2.5 Coil-Over Conversion | 2008 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4WD Diesel | Block Kit Rear

Configured with the Block Kit rear lift option. Rear lift blocks are cast iron for strength, tapered for correct pinion angle, and feature an offset steel pin to restore axle position. This design reduces axle wrap and delivers a more controlled, stable feel without the need for an additional lift block.

Overview

This 6-inch lift kit with long arm and FOX 2.5 coil-over conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2008 Dodge RAM 2500 and 3500 4WD diesel trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. BDS developed a mounting system that bolts directly to the factory coil mounts with only minor trimming and drilling required, along with weld-in reinforcements at the axle for superior strength. Up front, the kit includes FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks, all four control arms plus mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket, bump stops, and sway bar links. The rear utilizes heavy-duty cast steel blocks or leaf springs, longer u-bolts, and FOX 2.0 Performance shocks.

FOX 2.5 Coil-Overs

FOX 2.5 coil-overs deliver next-level performance for both on-road comfort and off-road capability. Tuned and ready to install out of the box, these 2.5-inch diameter coil-overs include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to keep shocks running cool under demanding conditions.

Long Arm Conversion

The long arm upgrade consists of massive 1/4-inch steel frame-mounted brackets along with oversized upper and lower formed long arms. The arms are formed for maximum tire clearance and allow the stock control arm tabs to remain on the vehicle. The heavy wall tubular lower arms utilize oversized greaseable polyurethane bushings for superior road vibration isolation, while the upper arms are solid stock. The long lower control arms reduce caster change through wheel travel for a more controlled steering feel, and the system retains the factory triangulation of the arms for added suspension stability.

Important Notes

• Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads will require u-bolt 4068.
• Although unusual, if driveline vibration occurs, order the appropriate transfer case drop kit: 122602 (03–05 Diesel Auto), 122605 (06–08 Diesel Auto), or 122606 (03–13 Diesel Auto with OE mount P/N 52121938AA) available in options, or t-case index kit #122801 (auto) or #122802 (manual transmission). Optional transfer case drop kits fit automatic transmission models only.
• Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009 on 6.7L Diesel models.
• If your truck has had the steering gear box changed and the sector shaft diameter measures approximately 1-1/2" to 1-5/8", you will need to add part # BDS082404 to your kit.
