Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

This BDS Suspension 4-inch suspension lift kit is designed for 2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD trucks to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy duty skid plates for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. Additional front components include sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware. The rear of the kit uses heavy duty cast steel lift blocks, brake line brackets, and longer U-bolts, paired with a choice of specially tuned rear shocks.

Important Notes

• Will not fit Mega-Cab models.
• The Rack and Pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As you increase the tire diameter and/or decrease the wheel backspacing the more sensitive the system becomes and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• TRX models require the removal of OE lower skid plate.
• Stock 17-inch wheels cannot be re-installed.
• Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with stock tires.
• This kit is FMVSS No. 126 Compliant.
