This variant uses a Leaf Springs rear lift configuration, providing a smooth, progressive ride while maintaining factory payload weight ratings.

Equipped with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, and application-specific valving for maximum on- and off-road performance.

Overview

This 4-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2011–2016 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty gas-powered trucks. The kit is engineered to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, it includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms with conversion brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block or leaf springs (depending on variant), a u-bolt flip kit for maximum clearance, and brake line brackets.

4-Link Conversion

The BDS 4-Link conversion replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for improved handling, strength, and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets to mount HD upper and lower control arms, correcting axle positioning and limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length, gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.

Steering Correction

A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle, paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

  • Removal of factory block required.
  • Rear add-a-leaf is required for models equipped with factory 3-7/8" block for level to tail-high stance. Single add-a-leaf kit #113218 recommended for more level stance; dual add-a-leaf kit #113209 recommended for tail-high stance. (Add-a-leafs do not apply to rear leaf spring equipped systems.)
  • Front exhaust modification may be required to clear front drive shaft (gas only).
  • If equipped with a 2-piece driveshaft, a driveshaft alignment kit may be required.
  • Although extremely rare, front and/or rear driveline vibration may occur.
  • If equipped with rear sway bar, #123009 is required.
  • U-bolts will not work on dually models.
