This configuration uses Leaf Springs for the rear lift paired with Standard front shocks (shock mounted behind the axle). Rear leaf springs deliver a smooth, controlled ride with a multi-leaf progressive design and maintain factory payload weight ratings.

Overview

This 6-inch suspension lift kit by BDS is designed for 1978–1979 Ford Bronco 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes Pro-Ride coil springs, radius arm drop brackets, a track bar relocation bracket for steering correction, bump stop brackets, and precision-tuned NX2 nitrogen-charged shocks. The rear utilizes either a high-strength lift block with longer U-bolts or an add-a-leaf configuration (depending on selected variant), along with a matching set of NX2 Nitro shocks.
