Overview

BDS Suspension has designed this 2.5-inch lift kit for the 1976–1981 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6. The kit includes everything necessary to lift your Jeep and provides clearance for up to 31-inch tires. Front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs are included along with new u-bolts, and the kit is completed with your choice of specially tuned shock absorbers for improved damper performance.

Glide-Ride Leaf Springs

BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs using a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride under any load. The exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design features tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, and a full military wrap to protect the spring eyes. This design provides flexibility throughout the full suspension cycle.
