Configured for the Chrysler 8.25 rear axle (requires 3-inch wide u-bolts). Includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

BDS Suspension has engineered this 1-3/4 inch lift kit specifically for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit provides additional tire clearance and improved performance without overextending the suspension or driveline angles at full suspension droop. The kit includes two front 1-3/4 inch urethane coil spring spacers and long rear thin add-a-leaf springs, paired with your choice of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.

Important Notes

Transfer case lowering kit is not required for 2WD models.

The Jeep Cherokee was produced with two different rear axles (Chrysler 8.25 or Dana 35). Measure your rear u-bolts to ensure correct fitment. Chrysler axles require 3-inch wide u-bolts and Dana 35 axles require 2-3/4 inch wide u-bolts. Some 1987–1990 models came with a Dana 44 — measure and contact BDS for proper u-bolt fitment.
