BDS 2.5 Inch Lift Kit | 1982-1986 Jeep CJ5/CJ7 | w/ NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

Configured with NX2 Nitro Series shocks featuring a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish with vehicle-specific valving for better control.

Overview

BDS Suspension has designed this 2.5-inch lift kit for the 1982–1986 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7. This kit includes everything necessary to set your Jeep up with clearance for up to 31-inch tires. It features front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new U-bolts, and your choice of specially tuned NX2 Nitro Series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series gas shocks for improved damper performance.

BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs with a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design using an exclusive triple-stage construction. These springs feature tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, and a full military wrap to protect spring eyes. The result is a smooth ride under any load with flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.
