Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving for maximum performance, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension has designed this 2.5-inch lift kit for the 1982–1986 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7. This kit includes everything necessary to set your Jeep up with clearance for up to 31-inch tires. It features front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new U-bolts, and your choice of specially tuned NX2 Nitro Series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series gas shocks for improved damper performance.

BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs with a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design using an exclusive triple-stage construction. These springs feature tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, and a full military wrap to protect spring eyes. The result is a smooth ride under any load with flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.
