Configured for vehicles with Square front U-bolts manufactured prior to 2-28-99. Vehicles manufactured before this date have a different factory track bar requiring a separate box kit — verify your production date before ordering. Equipped with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks: 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

This 8-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 1999–2004 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, providing improved stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 38-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar links, bump stop brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes replacement Glide-Ride full leaf spring packs, U-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.

BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design using an exclusive triple-stage configuration, providing a smooth ride under any load, reducing axle wrap, and improving flexibility throughout the suspension cycle. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar drop bracket optimize steering geometry once lifted, keeping components in phase through suspension travel and recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

• These trucks were manufactured with two different style front U-bolts. You will need to know if your front leaf spring U-bolts are square or are halfway between round and square with a gentle radius around the OE cast U-bolt plate before ordering.
• Vehicles produced before 3/1/99 require a different box kit. You must check the production date on the door prior to ordering.
• The Super Duty came from the factory with a 2", 3", or 4" rear block. If you wish to truly level your vehicle, it may be necessary to change the rear OE block.
• Will not fit dually applications.
• If your vehicle is equipped with a carrier bearing, you will want the 123402 drop kit available in the options section.
• The front driveshaft will need to be lengthened and/or clearance ground depending on how the vehicle is equipped.
