Rear lift is achieved via BDS Leaf Springs designed for the 4 Inch rear axle. These multi-leaf progressive springs provide a 5-inch rear lift with u-bolts included, eliminating any need for a lift block. They reduce axle wrap, maintain factory payload weight ratings, and deliver a controlled, stable feel. Paired with NX2 Nitro Series shocks featuring nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends, and a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston with self-lubricating seals.
This 6-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for the 2006–2007 Dodge RAM 1500 Mega Cab 4WD and provides clearance for up to 36-inch tires. BDS engineered new lower control arms that are longer than stock to rotate the axle for proper alignment, along with a relocation mounting bracket to flatten the angle of the upper control arm and maintain factory handling characteristics. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus a relocation bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links, and precision-tuned shocks. The rear kit includes heavy duty cast steel blocks or BDS leaf springs, longer u-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.
This truck is available with two different axle sizes, 3.5" or 4". Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4" axle models with dual overloads will require u-bolt 4066. Rear lift options will not fit dually applications. Although unusual, if driveline vibration occurs, order transfer case drop kit available in options or t-case index kit. Power Wagon applications require sway bar link kit #122401. The Power Wagon has a 2" taller ride height, so net lift gain will be 4".
