Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP rear shocks. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston with application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS steps up the performance and capability of the 2006–2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD with a 6-inch suspension lift kit. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to run up to 37-inch tires. The kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for on-road handling.

Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends for ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware are also included. In the rear, the kit uses heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks, longer U-bolts, and brake line relocation brackets.

Important Notes

• Will not fit Mega-Cab models.
• The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As you increase tire diameter and/or decrease wheel backspacing, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• TRX models require the removal of the OE lower skid plate.
• Stock 17-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled.
• Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with stock tires.
• This kit is FMVSS No. 126 Compliant.
