Overview

BDS Suspension engineered this 5-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for the 1994–1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to lift your truck with clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The long lower control arms reduce caster change through wheel travel, creating a more controlled steering feel. This 4-Link long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms, adding to the stability of the suspension system.

Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus mounting bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar drop brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes heavy-duty cast steel blocks and an add-a-leaf combo, longer U-bolts, and a matching set of performance shocks.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs: A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel with properly sized wire diameter, these direct OE replacement coil springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

Steering Correction: A forged drop pitman arm minimizes the steering angle once lifted, paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes
