Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks front and rear. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving for maximum performance, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.
BDS Suspension engineered this 5-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for the 2000–2001 Dodge RAM 1500 4WD to maximize performance on and off road. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The long lower control arms are built to reduce caster change through wheel travel, creating a more controlled feeling at the steering wheel. This 4-Link long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms to add stability to the suspension system.
Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus mounting bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar drop brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, this kit utilizes heavy duty cast steel blocks and add-a-leaf combo, longer u-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.
A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel and engineered as a direct OE replacement with properly sized wire diameter, these springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
To optimize steering geometry once lifted, a forged drop pitman arm minimizes the steering angle. A heavy duty track bar drop bracket keeps the steering components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
