This kit is configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks front and rear. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

This 5-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 1994–1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. BDS engineered new lower control arms that are longer than stock to rotate the axle for proper alignment, along with a relocation mounting bracket to flatten the angle of the upper control arm and maintain factory handling characteristics.

Up front, the kit includes Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus a relocation bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, and sway bar drop brackets. In the rear, the kit uses a heavy duty cast steel block and add-a-leaf combination with longer U-bolts. Shocks are included front and rear in your choice of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs: Full-length, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are manufactured from high tensile steel with properly sized wire diameter for maximum reliability without premature coil bind, providing correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.

Steering Correction: A forged drop pitman arm minimizes the steering angle, paired with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

• Will not fit vehicles manufactured prior to February 9, 1994 due to track bar stud size.
• The rear axle will be shifted forward in the wheel well.
