Overview

Enhance the handling of your 1988–1998 Chevy or GMC 1500/2500 4WD truck with a BDS single steering stabilizer mounting kit paired with an NX2 shock. Installing larger tires can exert additional force on your truck's suspension, but steering stabilizer shocks effectively reduce bump steer and steering wheel feedback. BDS mounting brackets are constructed of high-strength steel and bolt on easily. When installed alongside a BDS lift kit, this steering stabilizer kit can help extend the lifespan of factory steering components.

The BDS NX2 Stabilizer uses a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for fast dampening that adapts to varying terrain on- or off-road. The 2-inch bodied shock features a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft to resist rock chips and corrosion.
