This variant includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shocks. Featuring a 2.5-inch impact extruded aluminum body, a massive 7/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, an external reservoir to separate shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, and the DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjuster with 10 low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels. Fully serviceable for a lifetime of use.

Overview

This 2.5-inch suspension lift kit for the Chevy Trail Boss and GMC AT4 1500 (2025–2026) 4WD Diesel features FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks and is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for on-road handling.

Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, upper control arms, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket system, and heavy-duty skid plates. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends correct steering geometry at the new ride height while maintaining ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all required hardware are included for a comprehensive front suspension lift. In the rear, a heavy-duty lift block replaces the stock block to lift and level the stance while retaining ride quality and load capacity, complemented by new U-bolts, brake line brackets, and rear shocks.

Important Notes

  • Requires frame bracket modification.
  • Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled.
  • 17-inch wheels with 4.5-inch backspacing should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the steering knuckle and tie rod.
  • All aftermarket wheels should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the brake caliper. Some wheel profiles will not clear the brake caliper. These can be test fitted before the vehicle is lifted in a stock condition.
  • 2.7L Turbo models use the Diesel kit for proper skid plate fitment.
