Configured for vehicles equipped with the factory Auto Ride system. Includes brackets that maintain the factory air shocks in place of front and rear shocks. Will not fit models equipped with Magnetic Ride Control.
Overview
The BDS 4-inch lift kit is designed to improve the stance, performance, and capability of the 2000–2006 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban, and Tahoe and GMC Yukon 1500 4WD. BDS engineered a No Torsion Bar Drop System where the torsion bars mount directly to the top of the lower a-arm, eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member and maximizing ground clearance. This kit provides clearance for up to 33-inch tires and corrects suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling at the new ride height.
Up front, the kit uses torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket, and heavy duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. Additional front components include sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all required hardware. The rear lift is accomplished with new coil springs, a track bar relocation bracket, sway bar links, and extended bump stops, along with your choice of shock configuration.
