Rear lift delivered via Leaf Springs configured for the 3-1/2 inch rear axle. Multi-leaf progressive design provides a smooth ride while maintaining factory payload weight ratings. Shocks are NX2 Nitro Series: nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.
BDS Suspension engineered this 4-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for the 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon 4WD (Gas) to maximize performance on and off road. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, the kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 37-inch tires.
The long lower control arms reduce caster change through wheel travel, creating a more controlled feeling at the steering wheel. This long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms, which adds to the stability of the suspension system.
Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit uses either heavy duty cast iron lift blocks with longer U-bolts or multi-leaf progressive rate leaf springs, paired with a matching set of shocks.
A pair of full-length, gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel and engineered with properly sized wire diameter, these direct OE replacement coil springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
A forged drop pitman arm minimizes the steering angle once lifted, paired with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep the steering and suspension in phase through travel while recentering the front axle.
These vehicles were manufactured with two different diameter rear axles. You will need to measure the diameter of your rear axle before ordering. It should be 3-1/2" or 4" in diameter. Depending on the factory transmission mount, some 4" kits may require the transfer case indexing kit if a driveline vibration persists. See installation instructions for details.
