BDS 5.5 Inch Lift Kit | Ram 3500 w/ Rear Air Ride (2013-2018) 4WD Gas | NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

Configured with NX2 Nitro Series shocks front and rear. NX2 shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends for increased strength, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.

Overview

This 5.5-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2013–2018 RAM 3500 gas-powered trucks equipped with factory rear air ride. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, radius arm drop brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block, heavy duty air bag spacers, longer u-bolts, and a matched set of shocks.

Important Notes

• 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
• The carrier bearing drop is necessary for models equipped with a two-piece rear drive shaft.
• Some vehicles may require a rear driveshaft spacer kit (p/n 122007) to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement.
• DRW models: fit inner wheel clearance to the upper u-bolt plate on 5.5–6-inch kits.
