Overview

This 5.5-inch radius arm lift kit from BDS Suspension is engineered for 2013–2018 RAM 3500 gas-powered trucks factory equipped with rear air ride. The kit is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, heavy duty tubular radius arms, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar drop bracket for steering correction, bump stops, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block, heavy duty air bag spacers, longer u-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.

Important Notes

• 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
• The carrier bearing drop is necessary for models equipped with a two-piece rear drive shaft.
• Some vehicles may require a rear driveshaft spacer kit 122007 to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement.
• DRW models: fit inner wheel clearance to the upper u-bolt plate on 5.5–6-inch kits.
