Configured with NX2 Nitro Series shocks front and rear. NX2 shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.
The BDS Suspension 8-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion is engineered for the 2014–2018 RAM 2500 diesel-powered truck. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up with clearance for up to 40-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms with conversion mounts, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. A transfer case indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied to allow use of the factory front driveshaft at this lift height.
In the rear, BDS engineered new coil bucket seats that mount outboard the frame rail, similar to a leaf spring style truck. This shorter, more stable coil spring design virtually eliminates coil bowing and ensures predictable coil reaction throughout the full range of travel. A new track bar relocation system — including a heavy duty adjustable track bar — properly sets the rear roll-center height and centers the axle under the vehicle. Extended sway bar links and a matched set of shocks complete the rear of the kit.
This kit converts the factory stamped steel radius arms to a BDS 4-link system to optimize suspension geometry for better handling while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning while limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.
A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel with a properly sized wire diameter, these direct OE replacement coil springs are engineered for maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle and pairs with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
