Description

Configured with a 3 Inch Rear Block Kit, this option provides 3 inches of rear lift for a level to tail-high appearance.

Overview

This 4-inch lift kit with FOX 2.0 struts from BDS Suspension is designed for 2021–2026 Ford F150 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, ground clearance, and off-road capability while correcting suspension and steering geometry for maintained on-road handling. It includes clearance for up to 35-inch tires and is compatible with Blue Cruise.

Up front, the kit uses FOX 2.0 Performance Series coil-over struts, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, a front skid plate, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles to correct geometry at the new ride height. Sway bar relocation brackets, brake line brackets, alignment cam bolts, and all necessary hardware are included. In the rear, high-strength fabricated lift blocks and longer u-bolts level the stance, paired with your choice of rear block height.

FOX 2.0 Struts

The FOX 2.0 Performance Series coil-over struts are a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies, retaining the OE coil spring and top plate. They feature a 2.0-inch extruded and machined 6061-T6 aluminum body for improved heat dispersion, an internal floating piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration, FOX proprietary internals, and a 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy shaft.

High Clearance Crossmembers

BDS maximizes ground clearance with heavy-duty 1/4-inch thick laser-cut crossmembers paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to form a rigid subframe and adds off-road protection.

Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles

High-strength CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the lifted ride height. They work with replacement tie rod ends to maintain proper steering angles, function, and ESC system compatibility.

Features

  • FOX 2.0 Performance IFP struts eliminate oil aeration for maximum performance from factory-tuned, precision valving
  • High clearance crossmembers improve strength and off-road capability
  • Heavy-duty steering knuckles correct steering geometry and maintain ESC system compatibility
  • Top-mounted strut spacers provide lift and install easily
  • Differential skid plate for improved off-road protection
  • Rear lift blocks and u-bolts to lift and level the stance
  • Functions with Blue Cruise

Specifications

  • Front lift: 4 inches
  • Rear lift: 2 or 3 inches (depending on selected block kit option)
  • Maximum tire size: up to 35 inches
  • Crossmember thickness: 1/4-inch laser-cut steel
  • FOX 2.0 strut body: 2.0-inch extruded and machined 6061-T6 aluminum
  • Strut shaft: 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy
  • Steering knuckles: CNC-machined ductile cast iron

Installation

  • Estimated Time: 8–10 hours
  • Difficulty: Difficult
  • Tools Required/Recommended: 204-592 Ball Joint Separator (Recommended), Tie Rod End Separator (Recommended), Cut-off Tool, Reciprocating Saw

Important Notes

  • 18-inch or larger diameter wheels required. Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be re-installed. Stock 20-inch wheels can be used with up to a 305/60R20 tire.
  • 18-inch wheels with 5–5.5-inch backspacing should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the steering knuckle/tie rod. 5.5-inch backspacing is highly recommended for tire-to-frame crash bar clearance.
  • Models with 2-piece rear driveshaft WILL require carrier bearing shim kit 122406 (not included with kit).
  • Block kits replace factory 1-1/4-inch block. Stock block will not be reinstalled.
  • Crash bars may require modification based on wheel and tire choice. It is the end user's responsibility to ensure modifications are non-detrimental to vehicle safety.
  • Does NOT fit diesel models.
  • Tremor models: only the 3-inch rear block option is recommended. Larger blocks cause driveline vibration. Expected rake is 1 inch with new block installed. Factory block provides slight tail-low stance if desired.
  • Some trucks with a 2-piece drive shaft may have a recall from Ford regarding the rear driveshaft (Safety Recall 21S25). BDS recommends having this performed prior to installing the lift.
  • Will not work with models equipped with CCD (Continuous Controlled Damping).
  • Requires frame bracket modification.
  • Recalibration of your vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) cameras, radars, LiDAR, and other sensors may be necessary by your local dealership or ADAS service center. This will ensure proper functionality of features such as lane keeping, lane departure, parking assistance, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control, and other functions. Please connect with your local dealership or ADAS service center.
  • Similar to a wheel alignment, all charges and expenses that may occur from dealership calibrations and adjustments are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
