Overview

This 4-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for the 2007–2011 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon 2-Door. The kit improves stance and ride quality while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, it features 4" Pro-Ride coil springs capable of full coil bind, 3" bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, sway bar links, a front track bar relocation bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, and fixed-length lower control arms with OE-grade rubber bushings to re-position the front axle for proper alignment. In the rear, the kit utilizes Pro-Ride coil springs, sway bar drop brackets, a rear frame-mounted track bar relocation bracket, fixed-length rear lower control arms, and adjustable rear upper arms to correct axle shift and pinion angle.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs are full-length, gas-specific, progressive-rate units manufactured from high-tensile steel with properly sized wire diameter for maximum reliability without premature coil bind. Steering geometry is optimized through the inclusion of a forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar drop bracket, keeping components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

  • Will not fit 2WD models.
  • The fixed front and rear lower control arms can be upgraded to the flex or adjustable arms listed in the accessories.
  • The front driveshaft is maxed out at full droop and on certain models the driveshaft boot can contact the transmission pan. Replacement of the front driveshaft is recommended.
  • Exhaust modification may be required.
  • This kit is FMVSS No. 126 Compliant.
