Configured with a 4 Inch Cast Iron Block Kit for the rear lift, sized for a 3-1/2 inch rear axle, and paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. Blocks are made from cast iron for strength, tapered for correct pinion angle, with an offset steel pin and hole to restore axle position. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

This 4-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for the 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon 4WD. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 36-inch tires. BDS engineered new lower control arms are longer than stock to rotate the axle for proper alignment, and a relocation mounting bracket flattens out the upper control arm angle to maintain factory handling characteristics.

Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus a relocation bracket, a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links, and precision-tuned shocks. The rear lift is available with either heavy duty cast steel blocks with longer u-bolts, or BDS leaf springs, depending on the selected configuration.

Important Notes

These vehicles were manufactured with two different diameter rear axles. You will need to measure the diameter of your rear axle before ordering. It should be 3-1/2" or 4" in diameter. May require front exhaust modification to clear front driveshaft at full droop.
