Maximize the capability of your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Rubicon with this 4.5-inch long-arm lift kit from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance and provide clearance for up to 37-inch tires, this system enhances the factory 4-link by introducing a redesigned 4-link long-arm conversion that improves articulation and offers better control throughout wheel travel.
Up front, the kit includes new pivot mounts constructed from 1/4-inch thick steel, heavy-duty lower flex arms, adjustable upper flex arms, 4-inch Pro-Ride coil springs capable of full coil bind, and 3-inch bump stop extensions to control compression travel while increasing wheel travel. Also included are braided stainless steel brake lines, sway bar links, a front track bar relocation bracket, and a pitman arm to improve steering and handling geometry.
In the rear, new pivot mounts work with heavy-duty lower flex arms, adjustable upper flex arms, Pro-Ride coil springs, sway bar drop brackets, and a rear frame-mounted track bar relocation bracket to correct axle shift. The kit is completed with your choice of NX2 Nitro Series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series gas shocks for improved damper performance.
Upgrading to long arms adds strength, improves handling, and takes off-road articulation to the next level. Massive 1/4-inch steel frame-mounted brackets are used to install oversized upper and lower formed long arms. The arms are designed for maximum tire clearance, allowing stock control arm tabs to remain in place. Upper arms are made of solid stock, while the heavy-wall tubular lower arms utilize oversized, greaseable polyurethane bushings for superior road vibration isolation.
Full-length, gas-specific, progressive-rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high-tensile steel and engineered with properly sized wire diameter, these direct OE replacement coil springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
Will not fit 2WD models. The front and rear driveshafts are maxed out at full droop. The front driveshaft boot can contact the transmission pan at extreme articulation on some models. Replacement of the front and rear driveshafts are recommended. Exhaust modification may be required.
