This configuration includes a rear block kit designed for trucks with factory top-mounted overload springs, paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. The rear steel lift blocks are engineered for correct pinion angles, eliminate the need for additional lift blocks, and reduce axle wrap. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension engineered this 4.5-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for 1994–1999 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks to maximize performance on and off road. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 35-inch tires.

The long lower control arms are built to reduce caster change through wheel travel, creating a more controlled feeling at the steering wheel. This 4-Link long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms, adding stability to the suspension system. Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus mounting bracket, a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar drop brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes heavy duty cast steel blocks and add-a-leaf combo (or rear leaf springs, depending on configuration), longer u-bolts, and a matched set of shocks.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel as direct OE replacements, these springs are engineered with properly sized wire diameter for maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

Steering Correction

A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle once the vehicle is lifted, and a heavy duty track bar drop bracket keeps the steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
