Overview

Improve traction on your 2017-2026 Ford F250 / F350 Super Duty 4WD without limiting wheel travel with the BDS Recoil Traction Bar Mounting Kit. Built with heavy wall construction and internal compression springs, this kit can be loaded or unloaded while installed on the vehicle to control axle wrap. The full float design delivers bind-free performance across a range of lift heights. The bar is fabricated from 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC-machined end at the frame. The axle mount uses BDS's large-forged flex end and jam nut — featuring a forged housing with a large 1-1/4-inch x 12 threaded shank, a single-sided snap ring, and 1-piece flex ball capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end, the bar uses a durometer-specific polyurethane bushing and free-floats in the traction bar via a pair of dual-stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings.
