Overview

Custom tune the spring rate and ride height of your 6-inch lifted 1983–1997 Ford Ranger or Bronco II 4WD by swapping coil springs. A critical part of your vehicle's suspension, BDS coil springs support the weight of your vehicle's body and chassis while your suspension, wheels, and tires follow changes in road surface. Manufactured from high tensile steel, these direct OE replacement coil springs are engineered with a properly sized wire diameter, resulting in maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

• Designed to withstand full coil bind — can be compressed completely flat and will return to original height
• Polyester-based powder coat applied for flexibility and durability
• Preset with hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging
• Shot peened to increase tensile strength and maximum wheel travel without sacrificing spring life
• Either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 steel for long service life
