With an integrated LED light bar, the Factor 55 Lighted Fairlead illuminates the winching area, which can lead to safer winch operation in low-light. The light projects forward to illuminate the ground in front of the winch, and also lights up the winch drum for easier visibility when spooling winch line. The Lighted Fairlead provides task-light output levels in a flood beam pattern and reduces glare and flash blindness. Users can switch between white 6000k light at 560 lumens (1 lux @ 10m) or amber 3000k light at 425 lumens (0.75 lux @ 10m). The beam creates a wide, forward-facing light spread to illuminate the winching area, which is typically in shadow from headlights and auxiliary lights. The rear light projection illuminates the winch drum for easier visibility when respooling which line, resulting in less "birdnesting."
