F55 Lighted Fairlead
FACTOR 55 LIGHTED 1" HAWSE FAIRLEADMachined aluminum fairlead with recessed white/amber LED light bar for better visibility and safer winching.
With an integrated LED light bar, the Factor 55 Lighted Fairlead illuminates the winching area, which can lead to safer winch operation in low-light. The light projects forward to illuminate the ground in front of the winch, and also lights up the winch drum for easier visibility when spooling winch line. The Lighted Fairlead provides task-light output levels in a flood beam pattern and reduces glare and flash blindness. Users can switch between white 6000k light at 560 lumens (1 lux @ 10m) or amber 3000k light at 425 lumens (0.75 lux @ 10m). The beam creates a wide, forward-facing light spread to illuminate the winching area, which is typically in shadow from headlights and auxiliary lights. The rear light projection illuminates the winch drum for easier visibility when respooling which line, resulting in less "birdnesting." The Lighted Fairlead also eliminates the need for hand-held flashlights or the need to wear a headlamp when operating the winch in the dark. 00216-06 Lighted Fairlead Patent No. US10443793B2 The fairlead's LED light has a polycarbonate lens mounted flush to the fairlead's body, to reduce damage from debris, impact, and environmental conditions. The light is also IP68 waterproof and can operate submerged in 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes. It can be operated in temperatures from -40° F to 185° F and is SAE J575 compliant. The Factor 55 Lighted Fairlead includes waterproof Deutsch three-pin connectors, 15' of braided wiring to the battery, 23' of wiring for in-cab installs, and a threeway switch for a clean, easy installation. This fairlead is made from 1"-thick machined 6061-T6 aluminum with 10" bolt spacing. It wears a mil-spec A8625 Type III hard-anodized gun metal gray finish for excellent corrosion resistance. The fairlead has a large-radius opening to extend the life of synthetic winch rope and is manufactured in the USA. The light is engineered and assembled in the USA.
