Configured with Nitro Series shocks featuring an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, a large 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting silver coated finish. Supports a lift range of 6–7.5 inches.

This 6-inch lift kit is designed for 4WD 1977–1987 Chevy/GMC K1500 trucks and SUVs. It provides the clearance needed for up to 36-inch tires while maintaining daily driving reliability. The kit includes all components necessary for front and rear lift.

Important Notes

Auxiliary Shocks: If your vehicle is equipped with factory auxiliary front shocks, you will need to order auxiliary shocks to complete your kit. Add in configuration / checkout.

On some models, the front driveshaft may need to be clearanced at the double cardan joint to prevent binding. Some models may require the transfer case drop kit C5001 listed in the accessories to alleviate driveshaft vibration. The front exhaust cross-over pipe may need to be modified to clear the front driveshaft on some models.
