This 1-5/8" transfer case drop kit is designed to reduce rear driveline vibration on Jeep Wrangler TJ models that have been lifted. Typically used when retaining the stock slip-yoke rear driveshaft on a 4" lift, the kit lowers the transfer case to reduce rear driveline angles. An included relocation bracket re-aligns the transfer case shift linkage after installation. Commonly paired with rear pinion cam locks to rotate the rear pinion to more closely match the drivetrain angle.
Zone Offroad suggests combining this kit with Zone Offroad J5408 rear pinion cam locks. The cam locks use the factory axle provisions to rotate the rear pinion to more closely match the drivetrain angle.
