Overview

This transfer case indexing kit repositions the front output flange to eliminate driveline vibrations that can occur at taller lift heights. Featuring a thinner design to maximize spline engagement and improve front driveline angles on 6-bolt transfer case equipped Ram trucks, the included driveshaft spacer allows re-use of the factory front driveshaft with 6–8" lift kits.

Important Notes

Fits 6-Bolt Transfer Case Models Only.

Gas models may require modification to the front exhaust crossover pipe on driver side for proper clearance. Does not fit models that have less than 2.5" of clearance from the drive shaft flange to the crossmember. To determine clearance, use a tape measure to measure from the bottom of the front output shaft flange to the top of the crossmember. If the clearance is 3" it will install as is; if there is 2.5–2.75" some minor clearance grinding may be required. DO NOT USE FILL PORT FOR FLUID LEVEL ON AN INDEXED TRANSFER CASE. THE FILL PORT WILL BE LOWER THAN OE FILL LEVEL HEIGHT: If any maintenance requiring fluid change or refill has or is being done, before reinstalling transfer case check fluid levels on bench and fill transfer case with manufacturer recommended volume of fluid.
