This configuration is designed for trucks equipped with Aluminum or Stamped Steel factory control arms and includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.
The BDS 6.5-inch lift kit for the 2015–2020 Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon 1500 4WD is engineered to improve stance, performance, and off-road capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit uses BDS's high-clearance design to improve ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for on-road handling.
Up front, the kit utilizes full-length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, along with sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and supplied hardware. In the rear, the kit includes Pro-Ride coil springs, anti-sway bar links, a track bar relocation system, adjustable upper control arms for pinion angle tuning, and a choice of precision-tuned rear shocks.
*IMPORTANT*: GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014–2017 model trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the "Cast Steel Control Arm" kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the "Aluminum Control Arm" kit. Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering by referencing the help images when customizing your kit. Requires frame bracket modification. 20-inch wheels with 5-inch to 5-3/4-inch backspacing are recommended to reduce trimming. AWD models may require front driveline modification. Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod interference. Will not work with auto-ride or Magna-ride equipped vehicles.
