This configuration is designed for trucks equipped with Aluminum or Stamped Steel factory control arms and includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.
This BDS 4.5-inch lift kit is designed for 2015-2020 Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon 1500 4WD models. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 33-inch tires. It utilizes a high-clearance design to improve ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.
Up front, the kit includes full-length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket system, heavy-duty skid plates, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles to correct steering geometry at the new ride height. Additional front components include sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and CV spacers. In the rear, coil spring spacers level the vehicle and precision-tuned rear shocks are included in your selected configuration.
*IMPORTANT*: GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014-2017 model trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the "Cast Steel Control Arm" kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the "Aluminum Control Arm" kit. Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering by referencing the help images when customizing your kit. Requires frame bracket modification. 20-inch wheels with 5-inch to 5-3/4-inch backspacing are recommended to reduce trimming. AWD models may require front driveline modification. Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod interference. Will not work with auto-ride or Magna-ride equipped vehicles.
