Overview

The BDS NX2 Nitro Series front shock delivers high-end performance at an affordable price for the 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ, 1984–2001 Cherokee XJ, and 1993–1998 Grand Cherokee ZJ. Built around a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, these shocks provide fast, adaptive dampening across on- and off-road terrain. The 2-inch body houses a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston with self-lubricating seals and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft engineered to resist rock chips and corrosion. Polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves are included for straightforward installation. Available in various stem and eyelet bushing configurations for custom applications, and compatible with all current BDS lift kits. Designed to work with a 2-inch lift kit.
