Description

This configuration includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite (PE) piggyback reservoir shocks for the rear, matching the front FOX 2.5 PE coil-overs for a fully integrated FOX 2.5 PE setup. Rear shocks feature a 2.5-inch impact extruded aluminum body, a massive 7/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, an external reservoir design that separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, a standard DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjuster for high-speed/low-speed compression tuning, and are fully serviceable for a lifetime of use.

Overview

The BDS 7-inch suspension lift kit for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra 4WD pairs FOX 2.5 Performance Elite (PE) coil-overs up front with your choice of FOX rear shocks to deliver improved stance, performance, and off-road capability. The kit provides clearance for up to 37-inch tires and takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance architecture to improve ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for confident on-road handling.

Up front, FOX 2.5 PE coil-overs are paired with high-arched, 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers that properly relocate the front differential to correct CV operating angles. Heavy-duty laser-cut skid plates featuring the iconic tri-color stripe backing plate provide added protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and high-strength tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, FOX reservoir mounts, and hardware packs complete the front end package.

In the rear, ProRide coil springs, a track bar relocation bracket, extended sway bar links, and control arm brackets lift and level the stance while maintaining suspension geometry and load capacity. Rear shock options are detailed in each variant configuration above.

Important Notes

  • TRD Sport models will achieve the same stance as other models by achieving extra lift in the front.
  • Will not work with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) System equipped vehicles.
  • Will not work with Air Ride models.
  • Will not work with TRD Pro models.
  • For regular off-road use, it is recommended to upgrade Non TRD Off-Road truck half axles (CVs) to Toyota TRD's (Driver Part# 434200C020, Passenger Part# 434100C020). Not including TRD Pro models.
  • The ADAS system in some vehicles needs to be recalibrated by a certified shop. The vehicle may warn the driver of potential collision from lower bridges, overhead signs/wires, and signs in windy conditions. Most windshield repair shops (Safelite) and dealers are capable of performing this recalibration.
  • Wheel and tire combos were tested through normal driving conditions within alignment specs.
  • Some models will require: removal of mud flaps, fender liner being trimmed or resecured, body mount bump being cut off or ground down.
  • Some 37-inch tires with 5–5.5-inch backspacing wheels may rub the sway bar during full lock turning situations.
