Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP rear shocks. Features a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS steps up the performance and capability of the 2007–2015 Toyota Tundra 2WD/4WD trucks with a 4.5-inch suspension lift kit designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit utilizes a lower strut extension, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy duty skid plates built for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles utilizing replacement tie rod ends, allowing for ESC system compatibility. The kit also includes sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and supplied hardware. In the rear, the kit uses heavy duty cast steel lift blocks, a brake line bracket, and longer U-bolts, complemented by your choice of specially tuned rear shocks.

Important Notes

• Requires frame bracket modification and welding.
• No strut disassembly required.
• Stock 18-inch wheels cannot be installed.
• Factory 20-inch wheels with more than 6.25-inch backspacing cannot be installed.
• Models with a two-piece rear driveline will require rear driveshaft modification.
• When kit is installed on 2WD models, the differential brackets will not be used.
• Will work with Bilstein (yellow) factory front struts on 2014–2015 models.
• Models equipped with 6-piston calipers will require clearance machining on the caliper near the bolt holes on the mounting surface.
